What kind of church is Triumphant Community Church?

Triumphant Community Church is a loving church, made up of people who love Jesus Christ and are committed to helping others to know, love, and follow Him. Our pastor and church council are totally committed to the teaching of God's Word, the Bible.

Will I have to stand up in front of people?

Some churches call on their visitors to stand up during the service and introduce themselves. While the people at Triumphant Community Church are genuinely interested in getting to know you and make you feel welcome, we will never embarrass you in any way. When our guests are greeted from the pulpit, some people will often their hands indicating they are guests. Our Pastor loves to meet our first-time guests after service with a small gift, in a fellowship suite.  However, you can relax and enjoy meeting people at your own pace.

Do I have to dress up?

No, you don't. We encourage people to dress comfortably. For some, that may mean dressing up, but for most it simply means wearing casual clothes. The New Testament simply instructs us to dress modestly and decently, so we do not burden people unnecessarily by requiring them to dress up in fancy clothes they do not normally wear just to "go to church." We want everyone to feel comfortable as they enjoy our wonderful worship services.

What are the times of your gatherings?

Our Sunday community worship gathering convenes from 10:00am until 11:30am. We also meet from 7:00pm until 9:00pm on Wednesday evenings, here at Triumphant Community Church for our "Wednesday Community Life Night."  On the 1st Wednsday, our Community Life Groups meet; during the 2nd & 4th Wednesday is our Bible Study; our 3rd Wednesday we hold our New Member's Class (101), and our Life Development Classes (201, 301, and 401); and on 5th Wednesdays we offer Movie Night or other activities.  During the school year, each Wednesday evening at 7:00pm, we offer AWANA for your youth, ages 3-17.  Fifteen minutes before each worship service, we offer a time for community prayer and meditation. On the 1st and 3rd Saturday, is our Community Prayer Gathering, from 8:30am - 9:30am.  Check out the church calendar for dates and times of other activities. Come dressed comfortable, and ready to enjoy learning about God together.

Is my leadership position from my former church automatically transferable?

No. Although any education you've obtained or any past leadership experience can be very helpful, your leadership position at your former church is non-transferable. At Triumphant Community, serving in leadership is a privilege, not a right. We need leaders who desire to serve not only Christ, but also demonstrate a sincere willingness to serve others. Upon completing the membership and discipleship classes, and completing a background check, and any additional  assignments, all potential leaders are closely observed by our leadership team for an unspecified period of time, to determine competency, willingness to serve, ability to get along with others, etc.

What is the preaching like?

At Triumphant Community Church, it is our sincere desire to share God's Word in all its truth without watering anything down, but to do it in love, and in ways that are interesting, engaging and relevant to your daily life. While the Bible certainly does convict us of our sin in order to point out our lost condition, the overarching theme of the entire Bible is God's unconditional love for all humankind, as is shown by God sending His precious Son, Jesus, to pay the price for our sin. If you attend one of our services, you will hear the truths of God's Word presented passionately, clearly, and lovingly in ways that will make sense to you. But why not find out for yourself? Listen Online Now!

What is the music like?

This is a common question. A huge debate has arisen in churches over whether traditional music or contemporary music is "right." We believe that God has inspired people throughout the ages to write hymns and songs of praise and that He continues to inspire musicians from all generations to write music that praises Him and brings glory to His name. We believe that debates regarding styles of music are more a matter of personal preference than anything else.

We offer a primarily a Contemporary worship service that praises God. Worship services are enhanced with very talented soloists and musicians.

The focus of all of our worship services is to bring glory to God and to support and encourage every worshipper in their journey of faith.
